Orders received for in-stock items will ship in 24 hours once an order is approved during normal business hours Monday – Friday. Backorders typically ship within three business days depending on supplier availability. In-transit times will vary based on the zone the package is being delivered.

Note: FedEx Ground is used whenever possible. Should your order exceed FedEx size or weight confines, “Common Carrier” will be selected in place. Please specify if expedited shipping is required via FedEx; UPS Air; Next Day, 2nd or 3rd Day, or Freight Collect, so that we may more accurately fulfill your order.

Returns: Please call 800-277-7007 to receive an authorization number and return the merchandise within thirty days to the address specified.

Shipping Estimate

Shipping estimates are based on a combination of variables including weight, dimensions, quantity, geographic location and the method of delivery. Packaging Tape Depot estimates freight as a general policy due to the many variables involved. Once Packaging Tape Depot is billed by the freight carrier, orders are then billed appropriately.

Shipping Policies

FedEx Ground is the primary carrier used for small package shipments. For online orders, the available carriers will be listed during checkout. If you prefer your own shipping account to be used, please specify the carrier and corresponding account number at that time. We use the following factors to determine how our shipments are transported: size, weight, shipping instructions, hazardous materials, shipping location, and business or residential delivery.

Drop Shipments

Packaging Tape Depot will drop ship. Please notify on your order to which address you would like the order to ship. Upon request, Packaging Tape Depot can also ship blind.

Repairing an Item

Packaging Tape Depot houses a full service repair center for all of your strapping tools and parts. Authorized repairs will be made within 48 hours of approval. Each repair includes guaranteed workmanship, complete cleaning and return to factory adjustments utilizing only OEM parts. Please contact customer service at 877-484-4477 for more information.

If Packaging Tape Depot or the manufacturer is at fault, Packaging Tape Depot will schedule a FedEx Call Tag to pick up the package free of charge. Otherwise the customer will be responsible for the 20% restocking fee and return freight. Please contact customer service at 800-277-7007 to obtain the replacement order.

How can I tell which items must ship via motor freight?
LTL Freight Carriers are used for product(s) that exceed the general weight and size allowances of FedEx.

Will you ship my order outside the U.S?
Packaging Tape Depot ships within the United States, Mexico and Canada.
